I woke up, worked in the garden and cleaned my room. Then I had a very frustrating call with Valerie, the person that curates the ‘art contest’ group show in september. I ate with my mother and we had a conversation about a fight we had the day before. It was nothing but she wanted to talk about it so we did. After lunch I recorded the vocals for the second song of the mazzy star cover album, for the song ‘blue light’ featuring enri. After having done this I went to the post office to send the second letter to Daria. I wonder how she will read it, thinking back on it, it might have been a bit sentimental? But truthful nonetheless. After this I called my grandma bc I needed to pick up some materials for my dad to use in the garden works and i needed a car for it, so with my grandma I went to the store. After coming back I watched Martes movie ‘Mercedes comme papillon” with the intention of writing about it and I did so for a very long time with quite little results. It is very hard to write about this documentary that only shows women/womanhood in a way that feels right. Afterwards I spent a long time trying to mix&master the song for me and enri and stopped at around 1am.
