Today I woke up pretty early to go to ‘space for practice’ the movement workshop at floating University. It had been a while since I had gone and noticed a significant difference when I didn’t. It was a really pleasant session lead by a guy whose very much into chi gong. Afterwards I very slowly made my way to KW because I had agreed to meet there with a guy from the Flemish association in Berlin. He wanted to interview me about the myself and the residency. He was very obviously from Antwerp and that threw me off in the beginning but he was really nice and we ended up talking for almost 2hours. I think I did not make it easy for him to write a short cute little article, Im very particular in the way I communicate information hhehe. Afterwards I called with Kakule who I know from Congo for a while. It was really nice to hear what he had been up to and he proposed to connect me with a young Lubumbashi artist who wants to set up a project to apply for this fund all about african-european connection or something. It sounded like he was very motivated and I am greatly interested in revisiting the experience I had in congo, and continuing to build on it. So I told him im interested and we will be in contact soon. very cool :). Then I biked home and did groceries. I chilled for a bit and then emily arrived, her EU trip is coming to an end. I cooked, we ate and went outside. We were walking in Kreuzeberg when we ran into Margarita, the greek artist who really inspired me a few weeks back. We talked for a good time and it was a really nice cheerful encounter. Then emily and me slowly made our way to this pop-quiz night in some bar for which Kaja invited us. This pop quiz was really intense. Both the place and the questions were really too much to be honest. The people in our group are good company though, they have grown on me since the first time I met them (also at an earlier pop-quiz and afterwards also at a nice picknick). After the quiz emily decided she would link up with her date from the day before and I went home.
