Today I woke up and biked to a cafe where I drank orange-carrot juice and read donna harraways situated knowledges. An intense and interesting read, something I probably should have read sooner. It really takes a lot from a person to read this and fully understand and apply these things to what you are doing. really intense. When I left the cafe I had a really nice call with Vera, for the first time since seeing each other last in Rotterdam. She seemed happy to talk too. Then I went home, ate, answered some emails and decided to take a short nap that turned into a very long nap. I woke up at 15h30, the time when I agreed to meet june at the market. I biked over there really quickly and arrived 20mins later. We bought fruit and veggies together and drank some lemonade while talking. Then we passed by her house and went to this lecture-performance marathon event and were acting very funny and the entire event was so funny and also serious too. A fantasticially strange atmosphere. Afterwards we got to talking to a Belgian man and he said he was an animator. We talked about animations a bit and I mentioned really loving ‘Lars de kleine ijsbeer’ he looked suprised and told me he worked on every frame of those movies. I was shocked and so suprised i could not contain my enthousiasm. We talked for a while longer and it was such a nice conversation where he was very much convinced by my enthousiasm. He said there might be a remake, I told him to contact me if he wants a young consultant, and he said that if the film was happening he would do it. Crazy !!! Then him, june and me took the u bahn together and me and june went to get a drink and stayed out a while longer and had amazing conversation. I really like her, it feels like we are really becoming friends.
