I write this a day later because it was late, I worked on my thesis a lot and got a lot done on it. Saki cooked for us after which shino and me went to a movie screening called ‘four apples don’t make a pair’. The movie itself was cool but not that crazy good, that did not stop the creators from celebrating and showing behind the scenes footage and holding interviews that took even longer than the film itself. this was super endearing and shameless in a beautiful sense of the word. After this we went to the afterparty and there we talked for a long time, also about the ‘a history piece’ because it turns out I’m selected for a festival in chemnitz this summer :)). I am a bit nervous to show it because it really is a difficult work. But also excited because it will be a challenge. The afterparty was fun, we talked with some rotterdam creators for a bit and I also talked with two very beautiful models for quite a long time about Africa and religion. Overall the vibe was really good and very different from Ghent. I think moving here could actually do me good.
